Tristan Allen

Tristan graduated from the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Law, earning a Juris Doctor in 2026. Prior to law school, Tristan completed bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Science and Philosophy, and brings an interdisciplinary background to legal problem-solving and client service.

Throughout Tristan’s academic career, athletics have always played a significant role alongside his studies. A University of Manitoba Track and Field alumnus, Tristan competed from 2017 to 2024 and was a member of the University of Manitoba relay team that captured the U SPORTS Men’s 4×400m National Gold in 2023. In 2024, Tristan won the U SPORTS National Championship in the men’s 600m, taking home Gold in front of a home crowd in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Now retired from competition as an athlete, Tristan intends to bring the many lessons he learned as an athlete into his future practice and utilize them in the provision of service to his clients.

Before attending the University of Manitoba, Tristan competed in both baseball and track & field at Dickinson State University, in North Dakota. He is also a Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive Secondary School alumnus, graduating in 2016. Tristan remains connected to the athletics community as a part-time youth track and field coach and is a proud Royals Track & Field alumnus.

Tristan joined PKF Lawyers in 2025, starting out as a summer student at our Selkirk office. He hopes to build a future practice focusing on residential and commercial real estate, wills and estates, estate tax planning, corporate and commercial law, and small business structuring and reorganization. Tristan also has an interest in advising small business owners on corporate planning, contract negotiation, and tax-efficient legal solutions. Working alongside PKF Lawyers’ experienced team, Tristan is committed to building a community-centered future practice with client-focused legal advice tailored to each of his clients’ objectives.

Outside the office, Tristan enjoys reading, going to the local gym, spending time outdoors and with family, coaching youth track and field, and playing guitar.
