Brendon Yarish was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2019 after receiving degrees from the University of Manitoba (J.D., 2018) and the University of Winnipeg (M.A. Cultural Studies, 2013; B.A.(Honours) & Gold Medal, Linguistics, 2012).
Brendon completed his legal articles at Brodsky & Company (now Brodsky Amy & Gould), practicing almost exclusively in criminal defence. As an articling student, Brendon assisted with files concerning everything from traffic tickets to first degree murder, and appeared on matters in Provincial Court and the Court of King’s Bench.
Prior to joining PKF Lawyers in March 2023, Brendon spent three years at the Community Legal Education Association (CLEA) as a legal writer, where he created brochures, videos, and other informational materials for the public on a wide range of legal topics, such as employment law, family law, human rights, and wills & estates.
Brendon has not settled in to any particular area of practice, but prefers working on files with a strong human element and helping his clients achieve the best results possible.
In his limited free time, Brendon’s hobbies include volleyball, photography, playing guitar, and spending time with his friends, family, and dog.
