PKF Lawyers, Manitoba’s Law Firm, is seeking a career-minded, detail-oriented professional for a full-time receptionist/accounting assistant position at our Morden location. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, promptly notifying the relevant Firm members of their arrival
- Efficiently manage a multi-line telephone system, providing prompt and courteous service and working closely with team members to direct calls to the appropriate personnel
- Receive deliveries, faxes, and emails and route them to the proper recipient on a timely basis in coordination with the team
- Process payment of invoices, including issuing receipts
- Monitor outgoing deliveries to ensure they are picked up on a timely basis
- Coordinating appointments to optimize office resources and prevent scheduling conflicts
- Maintain professional appearance of boardrooms and conference rooms, ensuring they are always clean, organized, and client-ready
- Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues
- 1+ years experience as a receptionist is considered an asset, but not required
