Allison received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Manitoba in 2019, receiving course awards for highest standing in Taxation of Trust and Estates and Children and the Law. Prior to attending law school, Allison received her Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University in 2015 and her certification as a Medical Laboratory Assistant in 2012 after challenging the national exam. For many summers, Allison worked in laboratories across southern Manitoba, and she soon grew to appreciate the unique culture of each city and town in which she worked.
Allison practices primarily in the area of civil litigation. She believes each problem brought by her clients is unique and strives to provide balanced, timely, and well-considered advice, which gives her clients the best value for their money. As a litigator, Allison is a strong advocate and negotiator and uses her knowledge and skills to help her clients find the best solution in dealing with their legal disputes.
Privately, Allison enjoys running, biking, and hiking in the summer months, and cross-country skiing in the long winters. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, and hosting dinner parties for close friends after mastering a new dish.
