Adam Kaplan

In February 2023, Adam was approved by the Law Society to commence his Articles with PKF Lawyers. He assists his colleagues at the firm in all areas of practice.

Adam was born and raised in Winnipeg. After years of working in senior management roles in the Scrap Metal and Recycling industries, he attended the Faculty of Law at Bond University, in Gold Coast, Australia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and earned a Certificate of Achievement in the Canadian Law and Practice specialization program.

Prior to graduation, Adam interned with a top-rated Property and Commercial Law Firm, and volunteered with two Community Legal Centres and the Bond Legal Tech Clinic earning the Executive Dean’s Award for Best Performing Student Volunteer. He also served on the executive committees of several student clubs and organizations, including as President of the Bond Jewish Students Association, while participating in many legal skills competitions, including as a semi-finalist in the Ashurst Client Interview competition.

After graduation, Adam returned to Manitoba to write his National Committee on Accreditation exams and earn his Certificate of Qualification, while working full-time at PKF as an Office Assistant and Student-at-Law. Upon completion of his articles, Adam hopes to continue assisting PKF’s clients in all facets of Corporate, Commercial, Real Estate, and Wills & Estates law.

In his free time Adam enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, cycling, golfing, camping, travel, and reading the occasional non-legal book.
