Curtis Peters was called to the Manitoba Bar in July of 2005 and practices corporate commercial law.

Prior to becoming a lawyer Curtis gained significant experience as an aerospace technical writer as well as in the areas of technology infrastructure design and implementation and business consulting. His diverse background contributes to his ready understanding of the business needs of our clients. His ability as a technical writer serves as the backbone for his outstanding drafting and communicating abilities.

Curtis received broad and diverse articles at one of Manitoba’s established leading law firms where he worked in the corporate commercial department until joining PKF Lawyers. At PKF his contribution to the corporate commercial team has been significant and greatly appreciated by his clients and the senior commercial lawyers in the firm.

Having received his Bachelor’s degree in English, it is perhaps no surprise that Curtis received the D.A. Thompson Q.C. Award for Law and Literature while at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law. His personal interests are diverse, from the martial arts to photography, and have led him to regions as far off as India and South Korea.

Curtis was born and raised in Winnipeg and has a great interest in the healthy development of the community and the prosperity of Manitobans. Since 2004, he has been involved with Graffiti Gallery, a non-profit community youth art center, an organization that promotes the development of community, social, economic and individual growth in Winnipeg’s Core Area.
