Allan William Horne was called to the Manitoba Bar on June 19, 2003. He has a head for business and a heart for the law, making Commercial, Corporate and Wills & Estate law a natural fit.
When he’s not practicing law, Allan is out rowing, coaching rowing, being an umpire for rowing or making policy about rowing. His love for the sport began early on and he’s been involved at different levels over the years. Today when he’s not cutting through the water in the dead calm of a beautiful Winnipeg morning, he’s sitting on the Board of Directors of the Manitoba Rowing Association making policy and influencing the future of the sport.
Allan admits he is a man of few words but everything he adds to a conversation is precise and pointed. And while his clients are diverse in their situations, his goal with every client is the same, “I am here to help my clients accomplish their objectives. My expertise is in knowing the law and knowing my clients and providing advice and counsel the fits those needs.”
Allan joined Pullan Kammerloch Frohlinger in July 2005. It wasn’t long thereafter he was appointed the Chair of the firm’s Standard’s Committee.
His early career saw him practicing law at Investors Group, Aikins, MacAulay & Thorvaldson LLP and Tapper Cuddy. Each position provided it own unique legal challenges, while the steady rhythm of rowing challenged his body and stilled his mind.
